Photographing Ireland – And Why it Matters

Scott and Lindsay Nimmon surrendered everything they own and answered God’s call for them to use their arts talent to help people in Ireland stop what they’re doing and see the world, the church, and God in a different way.

W

hen Scott and Lindsay Nimmon met at Olan Mills Family Portrait Studio six years ago, they never imagined their mutual passion for God and photography would send them far away from their home in Shippensburg, Pa. to Dublin, Ireland. “There are a million and a half people living in Dublin; but due to the busy city culture, people don't often notice one another or the amazing things around them,” says Lindsay. “Black-and-white photography causes people to actually stop and look at something. That pause can help them think about their world.”

To have the privilege of helping him onstage is overwhelming. I wish you could see what happens in the audience when we tell them that he had a fall and that he has had memory loss. Please Sign In
