Avoiding Emotional Adultery

When husbands or wives feel their spouses no longer meet their emotional needs, they often turn to someone who does. Though they rationalize they’re doing nothing wrong, “emotional adultery” often leads to divorce. Here are the red flags of emotional separateness and tips for restoring the marriage.

ucking horrible traffic, Susan glanced at the clock on her dashboard. No way she could travel 12 miles in 5 minutes. For the second time this week, she’d be late for work. She tightened her hold on the steering wheel and took a deep breath. If her husband Gary hadn’t started an argument again this morning, she would have been able to leave on time. What was it with him lately? He seemed uptight about everything and just didn’t understand her anymore.

To have the privilege of helping him onstage is overwhelming. I wish you could see what happens in the audience when we tell them that he had a fall and that he has had memory loss. Please Sign In
