Dating on a Budget

Dating your spouse helps keep the fun and enjoyment in marriage. Here’s how to date even though the economics are tough.

or many married couples, the days of spending an evening out on the town with their spouses seem long gone; busy work schedules, spending time with kids and social engagements now take precedence over date nights with the one they love. Dating seems a thing of the past for them, chalked up to just the process by which couples first get to know each other. However, the Bible tells us that spending quality time with our mates is essential to a happy marriage: “May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. … may you ever be captivated by her love.” (Proverbs 5:18-19) Dating your spouse helps maintain that special bond you share and helps keep the fun and enjoyment in marriage.

To have the privilege of helping him onstage is overwhelming. I wish you could see what happens in the audience when we tell them that he had a fall and that he has had memory loss. Please Sign In
