e Need Each Other," Sanctus Real's fourth album released February 12, promises to be a hit-producing rock album. Building on their previous release, "The Face Of Love," the guys in Sanctus bring a powerful and pivotal message promoting love and relationships. Kicking off with the lead single "We Need Each Other," this CD is full of refreshing musical insight into the core of God's greatest commandment: love.

Although I like every song on this album, one of my favorites is "Eternal." A beautiful reminder of Christ and his bride, that song will resonate with both married and single people.

"We Need Each Other" will truly impact and build Sanctus Real's rapidly growing fan base. This CD is a wonderful way for believers to connect with non-believers through the lyrics, especially with the song "Leap of Faith." I've been waiting a long time for a song that calls people out of depression and ruts. Many props to you, Sanctus Real, for providing the world with this musical tool.

After being together for over 10 years, Sanctus Real has toured a lot and worked very hard. I'm sincerely overjoyed that this band is receiving acclaim and success, all thanks to their honest lyrics and true heart for building God's community. Sanctus' previous album brought them to breakout status.

I believe that "We Need Each Other" will bring even further blessings and a larger platform to promote the unity of God's kingdom. As a final comment, I really appreciate the increased presence of worship on this album.

Speaking of worship, Leeland has a new record titled "Opposite Way," out on February 26. This Grammy-nominated band exploded after their debut release took off further after touring with Casting Crowns.

The music on "Opposite Way" may take Leeland lovers by surprise. The songs are no less insightful than they were on the previous release but are just a little different stylistically as they are less fluidly melodic.

On the first spin of the disc, a listener may think, "This isn't Leeland." Upon further reviews of the new music, however, I think the listener will grow to like the new tunes. New to this album are the songwriters. Leeland's debut release was all penned by lead singer Leeland Mooring. However, "Opposite Way" features more songwriting contribution by the other band members.

The non-conforming title track is an inspiring counter-culture anthem. Youth today are especially vulnerable to the world's deception. Thankfully, Leeland's "Opposite Way" reassures that it's OK to turn away from what society deems as normal and instead pursue righteousness. "Opposite Way" quietly, but powerfully calls God's people back to the freedom that comes from obedience.

Leeland has the blessed skill of writing conversational lyrics. The familiar tone of their songversations (if you'll allow me to make up a word) brings out the personality of God. Listeners will grow to a deeper level of intimacy with their Creator as they memorize the lyrical dialogue in these songs.

Based on the amount of notoriety and respect Leeland gained after their first album, I'm excited to see where "Opposite Way" will take this young band.
