Book Review: “Talk Like Jesus”

When you talk to people, do you get the desired response or action? Do you know the best way to relate to your family, friends, coworkers or others in various circumstances? This book is full of simple techniques you'll appreciate.

hen I picked up her book, naturally I agreed with author Lynn Wilford Scarborough that Jesus was the Master Communicator, simply because his words still touch our hearts and minds today like no one else. But I was fairly certain I wouldn’t learn much by reading “Talk Like Jesus: Change Your World with the S.I.M.P.L.E.™ Steps of the Master Communicator.”

After all, I need to know how to communicate in a fast-moving, high-tech world of iPods, BlackBerrys, and even Twitterers. Jesus spoke in parables, and he didn’t have to quickly fit his communication into meetings squeezed into a busy schedule, or communicate effectively even with a deadline looming or figure out if Internet communications may be misleading. But in flipping through the book’s pages, the author grabbed my attention with

To have the privilege of helping him onstage is overwhelming. I wish you could see what happens in the audience when we tell them that he had a fall and that he has had memory loss. Please Sign In
