Christian Lawyer: Not an Oxymoron

A secular attorney is assumed to strictly be a zealous advocate for the client, no matter what the situation, no matter what the morality of the client’s cause. But Stephen Bloom wasn’t happy working for causes that were detrimental to his Christian faith.

Stephen Bloom admits he had no romanticized notions of being a justice fighter or peacemaker when he started his career as a lawyer. He attended Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pa., for purely mercenary reasons – because he knew he had the required skills and could make a good living. But God had other plans.

To have the privilege of helping him onstage is overwhelming. I wish you could see what happens in the audience when we tell them that he had a fall and that he has had memory loss. Please Sign In
