hen senior pastor Larry Osborne arrived at North Coast Church in North San Diego County, Calif. in 1980, there were 70 adults. He says the best advice he received was: don’t try to grow a big church; just plant the kind of church you’d like to go to and let God decide whether it will be big or small. Today it’s the largest Evangelical Free Church in America and has over 7,500 in weekend attendance on four local campuses.
