Confessions of a Christian Sock Sorter

Socks are symbolic of relationships.

erhaps one of the most frustrating household chores one ever does is laundry. It’s an unappreciated, never-ending cycle. And it is certainly not a time or place where one might expect to hear from God, but then again you might be surprised. 

After struggling to find in a mountain of laundry partners for the dozens of socks that my family wears on a weekly basis, I have been known to toss single socks in the trash. However, it recently occurred to me that socks are quite symbolic of the people and relationships that God puts in our path. It’s made me more sympathetic towards these lonely items of clothing, and now I actually keep them around in hopes of reuniting them with their “sole” mates.

To have the privilege of helping him onstage is overwhelming. I wish you could see what happens in the audience when we tell them that he had a fall and that he has had memory loss. Please Sign In
